A study presented at ARVO last week showed that a repurposed glaucoma drug can halt myopia progression.
Scientists induced myopia in guinea pig eyes then treated the eyes with artificial tears or topical latanoprost. They found latanoprost significantly slowed myopia progression over three months. (via)
