Johnson & Johnson Vision appoints Carol Alexander, OD as
Head, North America Vision Care Professional Relations
Carol Alexander, OD, has been appointed Head, North America Vision Care Professional Relations for Johnson & Johnson Vision.
In this role, Carol will work to strengthen the relationship between Johnson & Johnson Vision and the optometric community in the U.S., with a focus on partnering with national optometric associations and organizations to advance eye health and patient care. She will continue to partner with Mike Mayers, OD, in supporting our advocacy efforts.
Carol’s proven track record and service to the optometric profession make her an exceptional choice for this role. Prior to joining Johnson & Johnson, Carol led her own private practice for over 20 years, has been recognized by the American Optometric Association (AOA) as the Young OD of the Year, and the state of Ohio as the Optometrist of the Year. She has served on many AOA committees including as chair of the Commission on Quality Assessment and Improvement and is a past President of the Ohio Optometric Association.
Carol holds her O.D. from The Ohio State University College of Optometry.
