California’s governor signed a bill that will expand the scope of practice for California OD’s.
It allows OD’s to treat steroid-induced glaucoma, use a needle to remove a foreign body, administer flu, shingles, and pneumonia vaccines after receiving training and certification, administer IV injections for angiography and more.
