The McGee Group announces May eyewear lineup

MARIETTA, GA. – The McGee Group, a family-owned, American eyewear company specializing in the design and manufacturing of eyewear, sunglasses, readers and cases, is pleased to announce new releases from its family of partner brands, including Ducks Unlimited, Trina Turk, Badgley Mischka, Jenny Lynn Eyewear and XOXO.

For May, the new collection of frames incorporate stylish patterns and on-trend designs sure to appeal to a diverse array of customers with various tastes and preferences.

Ducks Unlimited is releasing four new frames for May; Houlton, available in Brown and Gunmetal, Houlton features a modified rectangle eye shape, spring hinges to ensure durability and a stainless-steel front with extended acetate temple tips. Kennett, available in Black and Dark Brown, features a stainless steel, flat metal frame construction with a rectangle eye shape that is well-suited for younger customers.

Rangley, available in Brown and Dark Gunmetal, features a semi-rimless construction, a fully hypoallergenic titanium and acetate frame and temples with unique, color-infused tortoise acetate. Waycross features a classic and easy-to-wear front. Available in Black and Brown/Grey, it has unique, layered carbon-fiber wafer temples.

Trina Turk has three new frames for May; Lexa, available in Burgundy, Chestnut and Navy, has a classic shape with an edgier, slightly angular brow, while milling behind the brow creates subtle detailing along the top eye rim.

Raleigh, available in Black and Burgundy, has a simple, delicate silhouette with thicker corners. It features matte and shiny contrasting, while small variations in thickness throughout the frame create simple and elegant movement. Tatum, available in Blush and Brown/Teal has an easy-to-wear, feminine round shape and unique crystal horn acetates extend through the temples.

Badgley Mischka is releasing three new frames for the month; Angelie, available in Blue and Mauve, features an oversized and dramatic 70s-inspired silhouette with beautiful two-toned Austrian crystal set into a metal-casted piece to create a window effect. It has high level polished and milled acetate on front, offset by thin, delicate metal temples.

Neeva, available in Black and Dove, features a modified square shape with unique Austrian crystal fabric set in the upper eye for beautiful light movement. The Black colorway offers laminated clear inside temples featuring an art dėco wire core. Sandrine, the final Badgley Mischka release, has a flattering, modern silhouette and a vintage five-barrel hinge with flat pins for subtle embellishment and an art déco-inspired wire core.

Jenny Lynn Eyewear is debuting three new frames this month; Compelling, available in Ivory and Navy, has a super-lightweight, semi-rimless silhouette with matte and shiny contrast plating on front and a split endpiece with groove temple detail for more subtle embellishment.

Lively, available in Sand and Teal, features a tiered endpiece with crystal stones transitions to a tapered metal temple and acetate temple tips. The classic, easy-to-wear shape has beautiful sand and teal acetates with gradient coloring. Sincere, available in Gold and Silver, has a flattering metal frame with a thin profile and a more petite fit. The frame is completed with subtle crystal embellishments on the end piece and unique acetate temple tips.

XOXO is releasing three frames for the month of May; Atalaya, available in Ocean and Violet, features a simple, rounded petite shape, beautiful watercolor-inspired acetates and a laminated XOXO metal foil logo décor. Canberry, available in Teal and Gold, has a flattering metal frame with adjustable nose pads and a metal end piece to break up the temple patterning. Its animal print epoxy enameling pattern creates a unique dimensional look.

Merida is the final release of the collection. Available in Black and Teal, it has a nice, easy-to-wear shape with slightly angled corners and contrasting pearlescent acetate laminations on the rims and temple tips.
