Colorado’s House Bill 1012 would prohibit vision plans from requiring contracted optometrists to provide discounts on services that the vision plans don’t cover.
For example, the vision plan covers the exam and glasses but not contacts, yet they will dictate what the OD can charge for the contact lens services. The bill is heading to the House for full debate. (via)
