What is it?
Acyclovir ophthalmic ointment approved for the treatment of herpes simplex keratitis.

What is the dosing?
A 1 cm ribbon is applied five times per day until the corneal ulcer is healed, then three times per day for seven days.

Side effects?
The most common adverse reactions reported in patients (2-10%) were stinging, punctate keratitis and follicular conjunctivitis. (via and via)
