Sports Vision Training is being recognized as one of the last frontiers for athletic performance enhancement. As strength training, nutrition and sports psychology become mainstream, elite athletes are turning to new performance enhancing modalities to gain an edge on the competition. On this episode of the ODs on Facebook Podcast we sit down with Dr. Jennifer Stewart to learn about how sports vision training can unlock unique opportunities for optometrists and patients alike.
Meet Dr. Jennifer Sewart, OD
Dr. Stewart is a sports vision optometrist based in southwestern Connecticut. She is the Co-Founder and Chief Vision Officer of Performance 20/20, a sports vision optometry practice in Stamford, Connecticut. She is also a partner at Norwalk Eye Care which is a primary care optometry practice in Norwalk, Connecticut.
Dr. Stewart attended Marist College for her undergraduate studies where she was a Division 1 athlete before moving on to the New England College of Optometry for her optometric education. Dr. Seward current serves as a Member Director for IDOC. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Connecticut Association of Optometrists.
