Eyecare professionals can earn or renew their Transitions® Expert status
through an in-person session at Vision Expo or on-demand
PINELLAS PARK, Fla., March 4, 2026 – Transitions Optical is expanding access to its Transitions® Certification Program with refreshed education, updated content, and a broader range of live learning opportunities. The program enables eyecare professionals to earn or renew their Transitions® Expert status through a combination of virtual and in‑person training experiences.
For 2026, eyecare professionals can participate in Transitions® Certified Live event held at Vision Expo in Orlando, Florida on March 13, 2026 from 11:30 AM–1:00 PM. These sessions offer interactive education led by Transitions experts and hands‑on product demonstrations designed to deepen understanding of Transitions® Light Intelligent Lenses™. Participants receive a comprehensive set of benefits, including:
- Official Transitions® Expert Certificate
- Transitions® Expert lapel pin
- One Transitions® 8-lens demo box and Ruby logo plaque*
- Recognition as a Transitions® Certified Provider on the Transitions.com store locator
- Access to the Transitions® Points Plus program, including merchandising tools and practice resources
Professionals unable to attend in person can complete the program through the on‑demand Transitions® Certification course, available at any time and accessible through Transitions.com/CertifiedLive. This option provides the same certification benefits in a flexible, self‑paced format.
Upon completion of either a live or virtual session, participants earn Transitions® Expert status, valid for one year with the option to renew annually. When at least one member of an independent practice becomes a Transitions® Expert, the practice receives Transitions® Certified Provider designation, enhanced visibility on the Transitions.com locator, and access to additional tools and merchandising assets.
