Seems like everyone has an OCT.

Heidelberg has sent a Spectralis OCT to the International Space Station.

Why does one need an OCT in space?
Because of something called Space Flight Associated Neuro-Ocular Syndrome(SANS). SANS is a mysterious condition that has been documented in astronauts after long duration space flights. It can cause unilateral and bilateral optic disc edema, globe flattening, choroidal and retinal folds, refractive error shifts, and nerve fiber layer infarcts.
The hope is that the OCT can provide more information on the pathogenesis of the vision loss. (via)
