NPR featured a story about the gaps in insurance coverage for eye exams. They also gave a nice shoutout to ICO for their outreach program that gives exams to roughly 7,000 uninsured patients.
Busted.
Texas has fined 37 stores for selling contact lenses illegally. The stores have voluntarily agreed to stop selling the contacts, will refund their customers, and pay the civil penalties. (via)
